About Somer

Somer Sherwood is the Parenting Editor at xoJane.com, the new online publication from Jane Pratt, former Editor-in-Chief of Sassy and Jane magazines.

Somer is also the Head Dame at Classy Broad and Classy Broad Vintage. She lives in a 1923 bungalow in Los Angeles and makes things with yarn. Her freeform crochet works have been featured in blogs, craft fairs, and art magazines.

When she’s not crocheting, collecting vintage clothing, or documenting the absurdities of parenthood, Somer is a self-proclaimed TV addict. Feel free to dish with her about Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, or Boardwalk Empire.
